About Dia De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead)
“Dia De Los Muertos” is a traditional holiday celebrated in Mexico. It includes the creation of private altars called ofrendas. These decorated altars honor the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these gifts.
The city comes alive at Noche De Altares. My children are exposed to el flavors of Mexico. They also learn more about their splendid heritage and history. Attendees come from afar to share stories of their abuelos, familias, loved ones, and struggles.
