Last week, I headed to the London Hotel in West Hollywood to speak to the cast of the Peter Rabbit Movie and get the insider scoop on the new film…
The Beatrix Potter books have always been a classic and family favorite in my home. I remember snuggling up with my siblings, and getting lost in his adventures. They were so much fun to read, and I was thrilled to introduce this new film to my young son…
Here are some excerpts from the interview with celebs James Corden, Margot Robbie, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Elizabeth Debicki and director Will Gluck.
Peter Rabbit will hop on the big screen February 9th!
Thank you Sony Animation for inviting me to the Peter Rabbit Press Conference. All opinions are my own.
The laughs were non-stop during this press junket, and there was never a dull moment…
Synopsis
James Corden is Peter Rabbit, as the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter‘s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne). James Corden voices the character of Peterwith playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail.
This movie is hilarious, suspenseful, and loads of fun!
Director Will Gluck was asked, ” What part of the movie stays true to Beatrix Potter’s books? And what parts don’t?”
Gluck responded, “Most of the movie stays true. It all stays true to Beatrix Potter’s. So if you read the Beatrix Potter’s books, you’ll be very happy. We are pretty confident-surprised that in the very beginning of the movie, it is exactly what you have read in the Beatrix Potter’s books. And it’s kind of a new adventure for Peter.”

Rose Byrne looked ravishing in this floral dress! Rose stars as Bea and Jemima Puddle-Duck (voice).
James Corden said in a serious tone, “Today is a monumental day. Not because we are all here, but because it was announced the “Spice Girls” are reforming.”
Corden is hilarious and stars as “Peter Rabbit” in the new film.
Domhnall Gleeson compared his Star War’s role Hux and Mr. McGregor in the Peter Rabbit Movie.
“They are both a little uptight and they both get thrown up against walls.” – laughs.
Margot Robbie explained how it was difficult to compare her “Suicide Squad” role Harley Quinn and Flopsy Rabbit character in the new film…
“But what I always enjoy is playing someone different from myself, and getting to say and do what I wouldn’t do in real life. That’s kind of the joy in acting.”
Elizabeth Debicki is the voice of “Mopsy.”
It was a pleasure to chat with the all star cast of the Peter Rabbit Movie. I can’t remember when I laughed this hard. This adorable movie is great for the entire family…
