New Show: Hamster and Gretel Now On the Disney Channel

Where are my Phineas and Ferb fans?

My kids were HUGE fans growing up, and now there is a NEW show hitting the Disney Channel you don’t want to miss.

Creator Dan Povenmire has a NEW animated series called, Hamster and Gretel! This new show will premiered on August 12th!

We also learned how to draw Hamster with Dan. this was such an incredible experience for the kids. Parents learned how to draw too!

My daughter Clarissa could not attend this special screening because she had to get ready to prepare to move into her college dorm, but Dan had a special message for her. Check it out here!

Dan’s daughter, Meli Povenmire stars as Gretel and she is brilliant in the new series. She signed autographs for the kiddos and also participated in the Q&A.

Is Hamster and Gretel connected to Phineas and Ferb?

Yes! The series is set in the same universe as Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy’s Law, with characters from both shows making cameos throughout Hamster and Gretel (though Povenmire noted there were no plans for a formal crossover in the series).

My niece and I got an early sneak peek of the show at Disney Studios and LOVED it. It is full of adventure and belly laughs for both kids and parents!

Synopsis:

The co-creator of Phineas and Ferb, Dan Povenmire brings you Hamster & Gretel. Grant-Gomez, and her pet hamster, “Hamster”, are given superpowers by aliens and the big responsibility of being “heroes on Earth”! Gretel’s teen brother, Kevin, on the other hand, was overlooked by the aliens, and is stuck being “superhero adjacent”. However, he is often the brains behind each mission! Now, Hamster & Gretel must save the world from one supervillain after another, all while keeping their identities a secret!

Will Disney Hamster and Gretel be on Plus?

YES! Disney has announced that the first five episodes from the new Disney Channel series, “Hamster & Gretel”, will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, 17th August 2022.

Hello my dear friends! Vetsgiving Week begins November 22nd on National Geographic!

I am so very grateful for many things in my life, and my fur babies are one of them. We have 7 bunnies. Yes, that’s right… SEVEN! Our little bunny family is absolutely adorable, and they have brought so much joy to our lives. Our Vet is sensational in keeping our bunny tribe healthy and happy, and we are so thankful for him!

I am thrilled to share that November 22- 28th is Vetsgiving week on Nat Geo, and you don’t want to miss this incredible group of passionate Vets! Stream it on Disney Plus.

We took a sneak peek of “Pop Goes the Vet with Dr. Joya,” and we followed poor Buttercup who was struggling with a terrible skin condition. In this episode, Dr. Joya shows compassion and helps this adorable dog recover. It was endearing and very inspiring! This show is ideal for the entire family.

Disney Jungle Cruise Now on Disney+ and In Theaters

When I was a little girl, the Jungle Cruise was one of my favorite rides a Disneyland. I enjoyed the mysterious manmade jungle that for a moment took me to a different time and place. For as long as I remember, the “Jungle Cruise” has ferried visitors on imaginary river safaris set in Africa, South America and Asia. Ohhh and who could forget the corny jokes that Skipper told us to make the experience even more amusing? But have you ever wondered what the backstory is to this ride? Well we don’t have to any longer, Disney just released, “Jungle Cruise” TODAY!

Synopsis:

Frank- Dwayne Johnson (The rock) never disappoints. His character is witty, fearless and brave.

Lily- Emily Blunt is endearing as ever. Her role is feisty, fierce, and she is also a fearless daredevil. Iv’e seen the film a few times now and each time I love her more.

But I have to say McGregor- Jack Whitehall is my ultimate favorite. He is witty, poise, and fashionably put together. This articulate English gentlemen has a BIG surprise for viewers. I won’t spoil it for you, but BRAVO Disney! This makes my heart so happy.

#Loki NOW Streaming on Disney Plus

Marvel fans!

The God of Mischief has his very own new series. #Loki is NOW Streaming on Disney Plus! Drew and I took an early look at the first two episodes, and it will not disappoint viewers. The special effects, the storyline is just spectacular. I won’t give you any spoilers, but you gotta watch it!

We have a great fascination with Loki. Tom Hiddleston, ( I have a mad crush on him) masterfully portrays his character in this new series. Not only naturally, but intellectually. His character development is brilliant ! We can’t wait to see what’s in store in the rest of the upcoming episodes of Loki.

Episode 1- “Glorious Purpose”

Loki is arrested by the Time Variance Authority when he creates a new timeline after escaping from the Battle of New York with the Tesseract in 2012.  The TVA resets the timeline, and this “variant” Loki stands trial in front of Judge Ravonna Renslayer at the TVA’s headquarters for crimes against the “Sacred Timeline.” Loki blames the Avengers for creating this situation by traveling back in time, but Renslayer says their actions were meant to happen, unlike Loki’s escape

Episode 2- “The Variant”

Loki joins a TVA mission following an ambush by the fugitive Variant of Loki in 1985 Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He wants assurance that the TVA will let him meet the Time Keepers instead of disintegrating him, but Mobius figures out that he is stalling.

Disney Pixar’s #SouL Activity Sheets

This holiday season, we have streaming some new flicks and we were thrilled to hear about the debut of Disney Pixar’s SouL. This movie is truly inspirational, and includes SO many incredible life lessons. Since it aired on Disney Plus, we have seen it three times. My son Drew says it’s his new favorite film!

Support this SENSATIONAL film!

SouL is Pixars’s first film with a black character as the lead. It is super important to support films like this one so that children get exposed to a diverse universe of characters. Studies show that it’s important for kids to see characters who not only look like them and their family members, but also sound like them.

Godmothered Will Debut on Disney+ December 4th!

JUST IN! Where are all my Disney fans at?

Today, we are jumping for joy because we got word that “Godmothered,” will debut on December 4, 2020 on Disney Plus. This film could not come at a better time, because we can all use a little cheer this holiday season!

ABOUT

Set at Christmas time, “Godmothered” is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers.

Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.
