LEGOLAND California Celebrates 20th LEGO Tree Lighting Ceremony

And the countdown begins for Christmas!

Last week, Josh Peck and starof Hallmark Channel’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ new original movie, “Inventing the Christmas Prince, helped Santa pull the switch to light the LEGO Christmas tree during the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony officially kicking off Holidays at LEGOLAND California!

This year marks LEGOLAND’S 20th LEGO tree lighting anniversary and were thrilled to launch the season with the family!

Disclosure: Thank you LEGOLAND California for hosting us. All opinions are my own.

At the ceremony, LEGOLAND California Resort donated $10,000 on Peck’s behalf to MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.

Hallmark Channel donated $10,000 on Mowry-Housley’s behalf to Make-A-Wish. Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital is a non-profit, pediatric and maternity teaching hospital in Long Beach that treats more than 8,000 children each year, delivers more than 5,500 babies and has become a regional pediatric destination for more than 84,000 children who need specialized care in outpatient specialty and satellite centers. Make-A-Wish is a non-profit organization that grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them strength to fight harder against their illnesses. LEGOLAND and Mowry-Housley have both been longtime supporters of Make-A-Wish

We LOVE LEGOLAND this time of the year. There is just so much to do!

  • Your favorite holiday characters, Santa and the Toy Soldier, are back along with the Gingerbread Man! They’re ready for holiday hugs, pictures, and selfies.
  • Head over to Fun Town where there’s a 30-foot, fully decorated, LEGO® Christmas tree with over 400 LEGO ornaments. And as the day winds down, the tree gets a-twinklin to holiday tunes at the Holiday Light Show featuring falling “snow”.
  • Need more pictures? Hop on a sleigh with a life-size LEGO Santa that’s pulled by his trusted reindeer. Along with the holiday fun, food and live music, there are more than 60 rides, shows and attractions at LEGOLAND California Resort.
  • Check out our delightfully dazzling holiday shows, Santa approved of course, throughout the park all season long! Also, why not try some holly jolly themed food and drinks too?
  • Combine the two for an unforgettable holiday experience!
  • There is so much to do, you’ll want to spend the night at one of the two LEGOLAND Hotels located right at the main entrance.

What a joyful way to enjoy the holiday season! We enjoyed the park rides, holiday decorations, entertainment, and created amazing memories with the family. You should too! Get your tickets here.

Happy Holidays!

Holiday Cheer Has Arrived At LEGOLAND California

Holiday Cheer has arrived at LEGOLAND California!

Last week, my son and I drove to LEGOLAND California for their annual tree lighting ceremony. This year, actress Lacey Chabert kicked off the holiday season in front of the ginormous colorful DUPLO Christmas tree. The beautiful programming was brought by the Hallmark Channel. We absolutely love the park during this time of the year, as it is transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland!

Countdown to Christmas, guests can feel the LEGO cheer from Nov. 20 through January 2, 2022 with live entertainment, festive décor and a LEGO Christmas tree!

Thank you LEGOLAND California for inviting us to your annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. All opinions are my own.

LEGOLAND California is a MUST during the holiday season! The sights, sounds, and the delicious smells of the park are sensational. Drew loves the falling snow, and I enjoy the twinkling lights and holiday park decor.

My favorite part is I get to spend quality mama and son time. Time flys by and he’s growing up so fast, and I am trying to enjoy every minute with him. ~Tears

Sparkling lights trim the buildings in Fun Town as it transforms into a winter wonderland! Guests can revel at the world-famous LEGO Christmas tree, standing 30-feet tall and constructed out of more than 245,000 forest green DUPLO bricks. The tree is adorned with more than 400 LEGO ornaments and 11,000 LED lights shining through the winter nights. Guests wanting to snap the perfect holiday card photo can pose with life-size LEGO models of Santa and his reindeer in Fun Town or with their favorite festive costume characters which include LEGO Santa, LEGO Toy Soldier and the LEGO Gingerbread Man.

As the holidays wind down, families can rock into the New Year with LEGO characters Jake and Emily at LEGOLAND California Resort during the annual Kids’ New Year’s Eve party on Dec. 31. Starting at 6 p.m.,

I hope ya’ll can make it to the park with your families this holiday season. Tickets to the park would also make a great holiday gift!

Happy Holidays from our family to yours! ~Queen Bee Latina

COMING to Legoland CA: The Lego Movie World!

The children ran gleefully towards the gate of Legoland, California. The boys, were in in for a treat when we made our way to their favorite theme park.

The LEGO Movie World will be added to Legoland park and opening 2020. The new park will be inspired The Lego Movie, and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. It’s the largest park addition in Legoland history! My son Andrew cheered in awe, as we learned more about Bricksburg.

Coming 2020 to LEGOLAND, California

In 2020 families will be able to experience Unikittys Disco Drop, Benny’s Play Ship, Masters of Flight, and Emmets Super Suite Apartment!

I know this will be a dream come true for all Lego Movie fanatics. My adorable nephews talked about their excitement for Unikittys Disco. They love Unikitty, because she’s undeniably fearless, and bold. Andrew is excited to meet Emmet; his favorite character! Other familiar faces will be featured in this park, such as Sweet Mayhem. As the children spoke about the upcoming addition, they were clearly in a whimsical mind of their own.

We always have a great time at LEGOLAND. Our beloved park keeps getting better and better! I can’t wait to bring my son and nephews for the years to come. Oh, and yes… we sang “Everything is Awesome” on my way home.

This weekend my family will be heading to Legoland California for a spooktacular partay! It’s our first time attending Brick-or-Treat, and my little guy could not be more ecstatic. Halloween can be a bit be hard on a little kids. There’s the costumes, loads of candy which is fun, but there’s also the spooky chilling stuff that can be a bit much for little ones… YIKES

I am always looking for kid friendly Halloween activities, ones that my little guy can participate in and not be too freaked out. So follow along with us this Saturday evening October 20th on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook @queenbeelatina at LEGOLAND
