Screams, Shocks, and Showdowns: Halloween Horror Nights Drops Two New Houses That Will Blow Your Mind

Alright horror lovers, get ready because Universal Studios Hollywood is bringing straight chaos to both coasts this fall and I mean that in the best way possible. Halloween Horror Nights is back with two brand new haunted houses that are legit giving me goosebumps just thinking about them.

You already know HHN doesn’t play but this year they’re coming for your sanity with Five Nights at Freddy’s and WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks. I got all the chills and thrills you need to know about below.

Step Into the Madness of Freddy Fazbear’s

Let’s talk about the terrifying animatronic elephant in the room Five Nights at Freddy’s. If you’ve seen the movie or played the games you already know this world is not safe. But walking into it That’s next level.

You’ll follow Mike’s story recently unemployed trying to keep his family together and probably regretting every life choice that landed him in a night shift at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. As you wander the halls of this creepy run-down entertainment center things go from weird to oh heck no real fast.

Freddy Chica Bonnie Foxy and even that deceptively adorable Mr. Cupcake are coming to life thanks to the legendary Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. These aren’t just costumes, these are massive hyper realistic nightmares stalking you through dark hallways flickering lights and jump scare central.

This house is a full body experience. I’m talking spine tingles sweaty palms and pure cinematic horror you can feel.

WWE’s Wyatt Sicks Is Horror With a Wrestling Twist

Now if you’re a WWE fan or even just a casual observer of chaos you’re going to lose your mind over this one. Universal Studios and WWE have teamed up to unleash The Wyatt Sicks and yes it’s just as deranged as it sounds.

This haunted house is a tribute to the late great Bray Wyatt and the disturbing universe he created. Led by Uncle Howdy also known as Bo Dallas The Wyatt Sicks are bringing pure psychological torment. Think dark carnivals twisted minds and disturbing alternate realities ruled by the likes of Abby the Witch Mercy the Buzzard Huskus the Pig and Ramblin Rabbit.

And of course The Fiend is watching you. Lurking. Waiting to be let in.

You’ll be pulled through a nightmarish maze of each character’s domain and let me tell you these are not cartoon villains. These are pure terror on a theatrical level. It’s storytelling meets horror meets the creepiest fever dream you never asked for.

When and Where to Get Scared

Here’s the rundown

Final Word From Your Favorite Halloween Queen

Universal didn’t just raise the bar this year They straight up set it on fire. Whether you’re navigating the haunted animatronics of Freddy Fazbear’s or diving deep into the darkness of WWE’s most demented characters Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is delivering next level screams.

So put on your brave face book your trip and I’ll see you in the fog.

I Like Scary Movies Experience In Los Angeles

Written By Matthew Banuelos

“Do you like scary movies? What’s your favorite scary movie?” (Scream-1996)

Hello, boils and ghouls, this is Instagram’s spookiest So-Cal blogger, the MovieMacabreNerd coming to you for a special news update. As you all know, the GREATEST and SCARIEST time of the season is slowing creeping its ugly head upon us. Halloween, the Season of the Witch is close at hand. What does that mean, you may ask? Well, kiddies, tricks and treats, of course! I am here, today, in place of your favorite and lovely QueenLatinaBee to announce that I have one heck of a treat to share with you. Although this treat is not edible, it is sure to give your artistic taste-buds a MAJOR sweet tooth! This treat hails in the City of Angels. May I present to you, the one and only…. “I Like Scary Movies Experience”!

Back due to popular demand, “I Like Scary Movies” is your one stop shop for all things horror.

“I Like Scary Movies” is interactive art experience whereas the Twilight Zone’s very own Rod Sterling would say, “You are the star.” You are put into a realm where nightmares become reality, where the grotesque and terrifying transform into fantastic forms of unmatched beauty.  “I Like Scary Movies” is a groundbreaking art experience and love letter to five of the horror genre’s greatest films and franchises. They include: Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”, Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, “Stephen King’s It”, Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice”, and lastly “Friday the 13th”.

Being the HUGE GEEK of all things creepy and crawly, I jumped at the opportunity given to me to attend this blogger’s event. There was no way I was going to pass this up. I had the honor and privilege to attend this ghastly experience with the always beautiful undead queen of the underworld, @bekah. If someone told me a decade ago that the grooviest undead photo-op art experience would be created and opened to the public audience in Los Angeles, I don’t know if I would have believed them. In a world now where superheroes and Midichlorian-postive, lightsaber-wielding Force users are “THE COOL THING” to geek over, “I Like Scary Movies” Experience makes you question that logic.

I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather take a photo in the secluded, Cabin-fever mountains of the Overlook Hotel with the axe-murder victim Grady twins or in the nightmarish dreamworld of finger-knived bogeyman, Fred Kreuger. Heck, if you enjoy watching dancing clowns float or spending your summer vacation in the forest with a masked killer on the loose, “I Like Scary Movies” has got you covered. I had a HELL of a time (pun intended) at “I like Scary Movies”. The amount of time, effort and detail (by the artists) put into everything inside this experience is sure to bring shivers to your spine.

Everything at this experience is interactive and makes for the GREATEST photos and selfies ever! This ain’t no joke, Pennywise! Buy your tickets, today for this once-in-a-lifetime gem! You can thank me later, trust me. “I like Scary Movies” Experience puts the “KI KI KI”…. in “MA MA MA”!!!!

8 Awesome Reasons To Take Little Kids To Knott’s Spooky Farm

knotts-spooky-farm

Last weekend my family headed to Knott’s Spooky Farm to enjoy a spooktacular day at one of our favorite theme parks. Halloween can overwhelming and bit be hard on a little kids. There’s the costumes, loads of candy which are fun, but there’s also the ghastly gory stuff that can be a bit much for little ones. Not fun, especially for sensitive children…

Every year when Halloween rolls around, my son old feels completely left out of the Halloween loop, and he feels limited to the events he can participate in. They are just too spooky for him and or not age appropriate. Oh and the sadness he experiences when mom and his older sisters head to Knott’s Scary Farm…

I am always looking for kid friendly Halloween activities that my son can participate in, that won’t end with him sleeping in my bed or waking us up with a nightmare. I don’t want him to miss out on the spooky fun, and I want all my kiddos to have an awesome Halloween experience!

We hit some pretty awesome spots in the theme park that I want to share with you!

Thank you Knott’s Berry Farm for Inviting my family to #KnottsSpookyFarm. All opinions are my own.

1. Timber Mountain Log Ride

Oooh!

The Timber Mountain Log Ride (my personal favorite), converts into the Halloween Hootenanny. Knott’s has added a new  friendly twist to this awesome ride. Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny.
