My UPLIFT V3 Standing Desk Home Office Makeover

This post is sponsored by UPLIFT Desk. I also received the desk and accessories.

I spend so much time telling other people’s stories that it felt overdue to give a little attention to the space where I write my own.

Behind Queen Bee Latina, there are emails, interviews, brand pitches, editing, and all the little details that never make it into an Instagram reel. The beautiful dinner or getaway might be what you see, but a lot of the work happens right here at home.

So when I partnered with UPLIFT Desk to upgrade my home office, I wanted more than a pretty background. I wanted a space that felt like me and made sense for the way I work.

Maybe you know that feeling, too. You put thought into the living room, the guest bedroom, even the table for a dinner party. Meanwhile, the place where you spend hours answering emails gets whatever space is left.

My workspace deserved a little more thought.

My UPLIFT V3 standing desk: walnut and black

For my setup, I selected the UPLIFT V3 Standing Desk with a 60 by 24 inch walnut butcher block desktop. The top is 1.5 inches thick, paired with a black V3 C-Frame with 24 inch feet.

The walnut and black combination brings the warmth I wanted into the room. When you work from home, your office is still part of your home, and I wanted mine to feel connected to my personal style.

The appeal of an adjustable standing desk is having the option to change positions. I can lower it for seated work or raise it when I want to stand. Writing, calls, and planning don’t all have to happen in exactly the same position.

If you’re choosing a standing desk for your home office, start with your room measurements and what needs to fit on the desktop. Include space for your chair and any separate storage, too.

The chair and storage I selected

A home office refresh involves more than the desktop. I selected the black Envoke chair with a headrest and a black 3-Drawer Square file cabinet to complete my setup.

Even with the option to stand, a chair is still an important part of my workspace. So is somewhere to put the paperwork that comes with running a business.

The matching black pieces keep the look cohesive alongside the walnut desktop. That combination gives me a clear direction for styling the rest of the space without having to make every accessory a statement piece.

The little details that complete the office

The accessories were part of the fun of putting this space together. I wanted useful pieces with a little personality, and enough room left over to work.

My Black Bamboo Desk Organizer Set gives smaller essentials a designated spot. The Notebook & Tablet Stand adds another option for arranging the things I refer to while working.

Then there’s the black cup holder with a woodgrain tumbler, a small detail that fits the walnut and black palette and gives a drink its own place.

My selections also included the Bamboo Rocker-X Board with a Comfort Mat for the standing setup.

You don’t have to fill every inch of your desk. Think about the things you reach for throughout the day and give those a place first.

Giving my workspace the attention it deserves

What I love about the direction of this refresh is how personal it feels. The warm wood, matching black pieces, and thoughtful accessories give the office a sense of belonging in my home.

I spend real time here, doing work I care about. I wanted my office to reflect that.

If your workspace has been waiting at the bottom of your list, I hope this gives you a little inspiration. Start with what you need, then bring in the details that feel like you.

You don’t need a whole new room to begin.

What’s the one thing you would change about your home office?
