Space Jam: A New Legacy Hits Theaters & HBO Max July 16th

Where are all my Loony Tunes fans?

As a kid growing up in the 80’s, I remember getting up early in the mornings to turn on the tube. I would sit in the kitchen with a bowl of Apple Jax, and watch my favorite cartoons. Some of favorite cartoon shorts featured characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Taz, Marvin the Martian, Beaky Buzzard and my all time favorite Speedy Gonzales!

So when Warner Bros called invited us to screen Space Jam: A New Legacy, and celebrate the film with an incredible interactive experience, we were beside ourselves! I realized that this film would bring back some of my childhood memories and give my family an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of shooting hoops.

Disclosure: Thank you Warner Bros Pictures for inviting us to screen Space Jam: A New Legacy. All opinions are my own.

After screening this film, we hit a special pop-up Space Jam experience and explored the ServerVerse, played games, took photos, met Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny!

Synopsis:

Superstar LeBron James and his young son, Dom, get trapped in digital space by a rogue AI. To get home safely, LeBron teams up with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang for a high-stakes basketball game against the AI’s digitized champions of the court — a powered-up roster called the Goon Squad.

NBA Lakers super star LeBron James takes on a role of a loving father who like many of us, wants his children to follow in his footsteps. His son Cedric (Dom James) however, wants a different path. The new film has a great message for both parents and kids!

My takeaway was, that we as parents should support our children’s dreams, and help them be the best version of themselves. I love this!

This family fun film offers entertaining moments that adults can enjoy with their children.
