Last week, we spoke to voice actor Devin Mack (Sonic) and Senior Vice President of Creative Animated Productions Logan McPherson. There is so much to look forward to in this series, you definitely don’t want to miss it!
Sonic Prime is a animated adventure series from Netflix, Sega, WildBrain and Man Of Action Entertainment. The series is based on the beloved video game franchise and premieres worldwide on December 15th 2022.

Premise
During a battle with Dr. Eggman, Sonic recklessly destroys an artifact called the Paradox Prism, which shatters the universe and sends him and his friends tumbling through parallel dimensions called “Shatterspaces.” Seeking to restore the universe and save his friends (whom up until the moment he had taken for granted), Sonic races through the “Shatterverse”, encountering alternate versions of his friends and Shadow the Hedgehog while fighting the Chaos Council, a group of dictators made up of five alternate versions of Eggman.

I recently took the family on a Grinchmnas adventure at Universal Studios Hollywood. It was our first time visiting during the holidays, and we absolutely loved it! There is just so much to do and enjoy during this time of the year that I know you will love.

The park it all decked out with holiday decorations this time of the year. The night lights up and the season vibe is like no other.
1. Meet n greets with The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos
During the holiday season, Nov. 25 – Jan 1, get together with the Grinch at a Who-tacular celebration to enjoy the music and fun of Grinchmas. Meet the maven of mischief himself, his dog Max, and favorite Who-ville residents. You’ll also witness the spectacular lighting of a one-of-a-kind Dr. Seuss inspired tree to join in a celebration of music, song and light. Plus much more. Put a little snark in your holiday spirit with the Grinch!

2. Nightly tree lighting ceremonies at “Grinchmas” accompanied by a snowfall flurry Topsy-turvey “Grinchmas” tree, twisting and turning over 65 feet in height

3. Visit the Who-ville Post Office
Kids can send their own personal letters to the Grinch! Universal donates to School on Wheels for every postcard sent! Isn’t that amazing?!
We met this lovely citizen from Whoville. She was spreading holiday cheer to guests.

4. Story Time with Cindy-Lou-Who
This adorable story time is great for the entire family! Cindy shares the classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
5. A cappella Frog Choir where Hogwarts students entertain guests with their harmonized holiday themed songs
This sensational group is so entertaining. We loved watching this unique performance!
Dining at Universal Studios Hollywood can be an amazing experience! There are so many eateries to choose from.

This show really blew us away. The orchestrated lights, music, and fireworks are truly spectacular! The show runs every half hour in the evening. This is definitely a MUST at the park!
My son is a HUGE Harry Potter fan and this is his favorite show.
7. Holiday-themed fare including hot Butterbeer will be available at “Three Broomsticks”
Hot or warm my family absolutely LOVES the Butterbeer. This non-alcoholic drink is to be enjoyed either way!
Don’t forget to visit one of Universal’s newer attractions, The Secret Life of Pets Off the Leash ride. This is one of my personal favorite rides. I love this bright, colorful and cheery ride!
There is so much do and enjoy at the park. There is truly something to enjoy for every age and for everyone in the family!

It’s time to enjoy the season with our loved ones. I love restaurants that are family owned and operated. Earlier this month, I dined at Citrus City Grille in Orange. Charlie Cosmas recently purchased the restaurant, and he was gracious enough to introduce himself. Cosmos is from Athens, Greece and we chatted about his bout beautiful home country, and how much we both love food and travel. I could tell he was very passionate about his dishes, and about his new restaurant.

This eatery is located in the heart of old Orange. The colorful ambiance is warm and inviting, and it has been in operation for 27 years.
The staff is super friendly. and the menu has many traditional options with a touch of Mediterranean.
We truly enjoyed the high quality dishes. The ingredients are super fresh, and the food is very flavorable.

LEGOLAND California Celebrates 20th LEGO Tree Lighting Ceremony
And the countdown begins for Christmas!
Last week, Josh Peck and starof Hallmark Channel’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ new original movie, “Inventing the Christmas Prince, helped Santa pull the switch to light the LEGO Christmas tree during the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony officially kicking off Holidays at LEGOLAND California!
This year marks LEGOLAND’S 20th LEGO tree lighting anniversary and were thrilled to launch the season with the family!

At the ceremony, LEGOLAND California Resort donated $10,000 on Peck’s behalf to MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.
Hallmark Channel donated $10,000 on Mowry-Housley’s behalf to Make-A-Wish. Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital is a non-profit, pediatric and maternity teaching hospital in Long Beach that treats more than 8,000 children each year, delivers more than 5,500 babies and has become a regional pediatric destination for more than 84,000 children who need specialized care in outpatient specialty and satellite centers. Make-A-Wish is a non-profit organization that grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them strength to fight harder against their illnesses. San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden Nature Lights Exhibit Now Open

Last week, we made our way to San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden to experience “Nature Nights.” This remarkable exhibit is on display now through January 8, 2022.
This magical interactive experience has been curated by a group of sensational artists including: Bryn Forbes, illuminated sculptures byMichael Reddell, and artistic lighting of garden areas by Kody Cava throughout the eight-acre portion of the 150-acre Garden.

The exhibition features enthralling moving digital imagery captured by artist Bryn Forbes, projected upon the garden’s hillsides and the surrounding buildings and artifacts, creating an experience like no other. Michael Reddell’s illuminated wire sculptures adds to the festivities by capturing the essence of humanity. Artistic lighting of the garden areas is strategically crafted by celebrated artist Kody Cava.

We truly felt transported into a magical land, and for a moment we forgot about our troubles. The artists have created something unique and special for the public to enjoy. I highly recommend visiting with the entire family.
Additionally, there will be a variety of culinary delights, regional wine, and beer available for enjoyment.

The children section of the exhibit was artistically orchestrated with lights and detailed with a special area for meditation. There is also a wonderful, “Make a Wish Tree.”
The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is a non-profit organization that showcases plants from Mediterranean climates throughout the world. Through its programs and facilities, the Garden fosters an appreciation and understanding of the relationship between people and nature and encourages a sense of stewardship for the natural environment. The Garden is located at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd., within El Chorro Regional Park off Highway 1 between Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. This week, we got an early sneak peak of Black Panther: Wakanda forever. This all-new Marvel film will undoubtedly flood theaters today, because there is so much to look forward to.
After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, there was much speculation as to how the saga continue. To my pleasant surprise, the film adapted a new storyline that is creating a huge buzz among Marvel enthusiasts, and people of color. The Latinx community is overjoyed with the implementation of Namor (Tenoch Huerta), and the Mayan culture.

Lila Downs Returning to Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall November 8th

Down sings ballads about the pain of love loss, death, and she written unique compositions on social injustice. Her music is moving and extraordinary.
Known as one of Mexico’s greatest singers and cultural ambassadors, the multi-Grammy Award®- winning Mexican-American singer returns to Segerstrom Center with her new show, a celebration of music, dance and ritual.
Downs is one of the most powerful and unique voices that exist today. Downs’ music reflects the cultures of Oaxaca, Mexico, and the U.S., in which she grew up. She sings in Spanish and English, sometimes incorporating indigenous Mixtec, Zapotec and Maya. With a symbolic stage presence and emotional storytelling through song, her singing transcends all language barriers.

Born and raised in both Oaxaca and Minnesota, Lila Downs is the daughter of a Mixtec Indigenous woman and Anglo-American father.

A passionate human rights activist, Lila Downs’s lyrics often reflect stories of social injustice and the experiences within the suppressed Latin American stories of women of indigenous and working-class origins.

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile: Exclusive Interview with Directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon
Last month, we got an early look at Lyle, Lye, Crocodile at Sony Studios in Los Angeles California. We also spoke to directors Will Speck & Josh Gordon to talk about the upcoming CGI film.
I can’t begin to tell you how excited about this film! Sony gave us a special preview of the unedited version of the movie. It was fascinating to see the film in its early stages, and how it all comes together. I now have a greater appreciation for the creators and all the rigorous work that goes behind the scenes.

Synopsis:
