It’s getting hot! How are you staying cool this summer? Last week, we hit Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles on a bright Sunday morning to celebrate, Paws of Fury- The Legend of Hank. This adorable new film is absolutely hilarious. It is action packed, and has arrived just in time to enjoy with your entire familia this season.
Keep cool with your family by hitting theaters July 15th!
Thank you Paramount Pictures for inviting Queen Bee Latina to the Paws of Fury premiere. All opinion are my own.
In addition to watching the film, we celebrated the movie’s debut with Paws of Fury themed treats, fun games, music, and samurai training. We are fully trained for our next brawl. Lol
The all star cast includes: Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Cera, Mel Brooks, Gabriel Iglesias, Michelle Yeoh and many more talented voice actors. We loved the writing and humor. On many occasions we shared belly laughs. I recommend this film for the entire family, since there is a little something for everyone to enjoy in it.
A down-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. The only problem… cats hate dogs! Also starring Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh, Kylie Kuioka, and Cathy Shim, PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK pounces into theatres July 15, 2022.

Are you a DC Teen Titans Fan? If so you need to watch this new movie!
My son is a HUGE Teen Titans fan and earlier this month we drove to Warner Bros. Studios to celebrate the new film, “Teen Titans GO! To The Movies.” On our drive up to Los Angeles, my son and his primo (cousin) wiggled in their seats and could barely contain their excitement. The were ecstatic because they would be one of the first, to watch this new epic film!
This hysterical film finds our favorite egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film. When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, THEY GO BIG!
It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously Super-Villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!
Will Arnett (The LEGO® Batman Movie) and Kristen Bell (Frozen) lend their voices to the first-ever big-screen version of DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network’s animated TV show, which also stars Greg Cipes (TV’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV’s Spider-Man) as Robin, Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the My Little Pony franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV’s Adventure Time with Finn & Jake) as Starfire, reprising their roles from the series.
The film is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are Teen Titans GO! series contributors.
Who’s your favorite superhero? My son LOVES Beast Boy and Robin.
This new film is full of adventure, is clever, HILARIOUS and crass! My son said his favorite part of the film is when Beast Boy turns into a dragon and unites with his superhero friends to battle Slade. A personal highlight for me, was when Robin tries to reverse time and change the creation and powers of Superman, Wonder Woman, and other legendary villain fighters. SO FUNNY! I also loved that there is a great message for kiddos…
This new movie is full of surprises, and lots for laughs for parents too!
It is always fascinating to visit Warner Bros. Studios, and see where all the movie magic happens!
My son was elated because he was given the opportunity to do a voice over for Beast Boy at the Studio.
This was a party alright! We played games, ate pizza, delicious tacos, and waaay too many sweet treats…
The boys worked up a sweat, and danced to the funky beats the DJ played!
My adorable little nephew is a Robin fan!
My family had a blast, and the boys enjoyed celebrating the new film with with favorite Super Heroes!
Did someone say, “tacos?” These ice cream tacos were AMAZING!
It is no surprise that this movie is 100% FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes…
Pandas are sweet and beloved around the world. We just can’t get enough of them! So when IMAX invited us to see their new documentary PANDAS, we were overjoyed to get a first look at the new film.
Last week, my son and I headed to the Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the PANDAS premiere. We also had the opportunity to talk to narrator, Kristen Bell. We truly fell in love with this delightful film, and now have better understanding about this adorable creature. These sweet little guys get into mischief and make the cutest growls and grunts. They knock over leaves, and go down slides. What is there not to love? This breathtaking film is educational and great for the entire family!
My correspondent asked Narrator Kristen Bell, “What inspired you to make this movie.” She was very sweet and knelt down to answer his question.
About IMAX PANDAS
At Chengdu Panda Base in China, scientists are dedicated to protecting the species by breeding adult Giant Pandas in order to introduce cubs into the wild. This film follows one such researcher, whose passion leads her to initiate a new technique inspired by a black bear program in rural New Hampshire. What starts as a cross-culture collaboration becomes a life-changing journey for an American biologist who crosses an ocean to join her; a scientist from Inner Mongolia; and a very curious female cub named Qian Qian, born in captivity.
Captured with IMAX® Cameras, join Qian Qian on an exciting new adventure in the mountains of Sichuan as she takes her first steps outside her protected habitat, discovering her true animal nature…even as she faces the challenges of the unknown.
Watch this video clip of Kristen Bell giving mothers words of encouragement.
Actress Abigail Lewis loves PANDAS too, and was among the celebs that showed support for this incredible film.
The panda inspired themed cookies were too cute to eat at the premiere party!
There is never a dull moment with this blogger crew…
Thank you IMAX for inviting Queen Bee Latina to the PANDAS premiere!
We fell in love with this film, and know you will too… Go see it in select IMAX theaters April 6th!

The 2017 Oscars had many memorable moments. The energy on the red carpet was electrifying. Various press outlets and fans from around the globe showed up in droves, all to celebrate the love of movies. Here are 13 highlights from the biggest night in Hollywood.
The Fashion was very reminiscent of “Classic Hollywood.” Gold, silver, and metallics were a big hit on the red carpet. I was blown away when I saw these jaw-dropping dresses up close. These gowns were by far the most elaborate and stunning masterpieces I have seen in my lifetime. (no exaggeration here). The accessory of the night was a blue American Civil Liberties Union ribbon.
Taraji P. Henson looked ravishing in Alberta Ferretti on the red Carpet. I really loved this simple chic dress.
Hailee Steinfeld looked whimsical in this Ralph and Russo dress.. It was one of my favorite dresses of the night. It appeared as if Hailee just popped out of a storybook fairytale.
Ruth Negga arrived in Valentino wearing a blue ribbon in support of the ACLU at the Oscars.

2. My heart palpated when Justin Timberlake opened the show singing “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from Trolls. He pumped the audience up with this unforgettable performance and set the tone for a fun night.

3. Jimmy Kimmel was politically charged and without hesitation took jabs at President Trump, Matt Damon, and sarcastically talked about Meryl Streep being, per Trump, an “overrated actress.” Jimmy brought out his “Mean Tweets.” He tweeted,“Hey @realDonaldTrump u up?”
He was hilarious and entertaining as the host of the night! Love him…

4. Gael Garcia Bernal is one of my all-time favorite actors and directors. TheMexican actor was unapologetically political at 2017 Oscars ceremony. He made reference to President Trump’s planned border wall between the United States and Mexico. He openly talked about being a Mexican immigrant and farm worker. He said, “As a Mexican, as a Latin-American, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I am against any form of wall.” He’s just amazing and I admire his outspokenness!
5.Candy Crush! Twizzlers and Red Vines randomly floated down on the audience from the ceiling. It was strange, dreamy, and very unexpected. Oh and tasty, might I add!
6. Anousheh Ansari accepted the Oscar for best foreign language film, “The Salesman.” Its director, ceiling. Asghar Farhadi of Iran, boycotted the ceremony because of President Trump’s travel ban on people from seven predominantly Muslim countries. “It’s a great honor to be receiving this valuable award for the second time…” Ansari said on behalf of Farhadi. “…My absence is out of respect for the people in my country and those of other nations whom have been disrespected by the inhumane law that bans entry of immigrants to the U.S…”
7. Damien Chazelle becameyoungest director to ever win an Oscar at 32 years old, for directing La La Land. Including his nomination for La La Land, this is the third Academy Award nomination for Chazelle. He was previously nominated for Whiplash.
8. Sixteen-year-old “Moana” star Auli’i Cravalhowas hit by a dancer’s flag on the head midway through her performance, but she gracefully continued the performance of her movie’s nominated song, “How Far I’ll Go.” Following the performance, Cravalho has been cast in a lead role on the NBC pilot Drama High, inspired by high school theater teacher Lou Volpe. Professionalism pays off!
9. Sara Bareillis performed a tribute to the many talents that died in 2016. Her In Memorium performance of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” was moving and beautiful, and honored Hollywood icons including singer/actor Prince, socialite and actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, Gene Wilder, Mary Tyler Moore, Debbie Reynolds, her daughter Carrie Fisher and many more.

10. Viola Davis won in one of the toughest categories of the night. She was up against Octavia Spencer for “Hidden Figures,” Naomie Harris for “Moonlight,” Nicole Kidman for “Lion,” and Michelle Williams for “Manchester By The Sea.”
Her speech was strong, gracious, inspirational, powerful and beautiful. Just as she is…(And that red dress was perfect for the occasion.)
She said, “The people who taught me how to fail, how to love, how to hold an award, how to lose, my parents. I’m so thankful that God chose you to bring me into this world. To my sisters, my sister Delores, who’s here who played Jaji and Jaja with me, we were rich white women in the tea party games. Thank you for the imagination and to my husband and my daughter, my heart, you and Genesis, you teach me every day how to live, how to love. I’m so glad you are the foundation of my life.”
In the press room, Viola continued her inspired speech-making, reflecting on her past. “I grew up in poverty. I grew up in apartments that were condemned and rat-infested and I always sort of wanted to be somebody. I wanted to be good at something. This is sort of like the miracle of God. Of dreaming big. Just hoping it sticks and it lands and it did,” she said. “Who knew?”

11. Emma Stone thanked the other nominees in her category, which included: Isabelle Huppert, Ruth Negga, Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep. “You are all so extraordinary and I look up to you and I admire you more than I can put into words,” said Emma, who then continued to thank her family and friends.“I’m going to hug the hell out of you when the feeling re-enters my body.” In the press room, she continued to talk about how easy it was for her to relate to her character in “La La Land” and the real struggles she faced auditioning as an actress.
Emma looked stunning and glamorous in her gold “Classic Old Hollywood Glamour” dress. The gown was intricate and had beautiful fringes at the bottom. Her hairstyle had soft waves that were simple and chic. She shined in her moment.

12. In a touching moment, Mahershala Ali dedicated his Oscar to his newborn baby girl in his acceptance speech. In the press room he said, “Pray to be guided to your excellence,” when asked what message did he have for to his new daughter.

The BIG OOPS -The Oscar Mix up was HUGE surprise when it was announced that “La La Land” had won best picture, even though “Moonlight” was actually the winner. Midway through the acceptance speeches, Jordan Horowitz, producer of “La La Land” showed the envelope revealing “Moonlight” as the true winner for Best Picture. It was one of the most awkward moments in Oscars history… Yikes!
Behind the scenes, a thunderbolt hit the press room.We all looked at each other, “Did that just happen? Was that a joke? Wtf just happened?” It was chaotic and unbelievable.” It was one of the most awkward moments in Oscars history… Yikes!
The 89th Academy Awards was a dream come true and a night to remember. I was ecstatic to be part of it!
The new Peter Rabbit Movie has officially hopped into theaters…
Last week, with hit the “Green Carpet” at The Grove in Los Angeles to celebrate the new film. The sensational cast, celebs, and fans hippity-hopped to the premiere to get a closer look…
The new Peter Rabbit Movie is based on Helen Beatrix Potter’s book series. North American English author Helen Beatrix Potterwas an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist best known for her children’s books featuring animals, such as those of Peter Rabbit.
I grew up reading her adventures, and it was so wonderful to see her book come to life in the new film!
Thank you Sony Pictures for inviting me to the Peter Rabbit Junket, Build A Bear workshop, and World Premiere. All opinions are my own.
The New Petter Rabbit Movie is full of shenanigans, laughs, and adventure! There were many laugh out loud moments as we screened this film. My son and I chuckled uncontrollably during the intense battle scenes between Mr. McGregor and Peter Rabbit.
Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne). James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.
Rose Byrne looked stunning in blue and was all smiles at the premiere. Rose stars as Bea and Jemima Puddle-Duck (voice)… WE LOVE HER!
Bea is a sweet artist who lives in the country. She is a protector of her animal friends, and her sweet personality captivates her new neighbor Mr. McGregor.
There were many heartwarming moments and life lessons in the film. This story teaches children about being humble and about forgiveness.
The personality of each animal is endearing and unique in the film. But Peter Rabbit of course, is most rambunctious and tenacious of them all!
Elizabeth Debicki looked chic in this couture spring dress. She stars as “Mopsy in the new film.”
We had a hoppin great time at the premiere party! There were several Peter Rabbit themed activities and delicious treats…
At the Peter Rabbit Press Junket, we interviewed James Corden, Rose Byrne, Elizabeth Debicki, Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie and Will Gluck. Check out video footage of the interview and my blog post about the press conference.
Beatrix Potter’s tales have always been a treasured favorite in our home. It seems like yesterday when I would snuggle up in bed with my daughter and read to her.. Peter Rabbit and Reading Is Fundamental have partnered to provide books and literacy resources to kids who need it most… You can donate directly at RIF.ORG/DONATE
This movie is warm and fuzzy, and great for the entire family!
We loved this movie and were delighted to be part of such an incredible celebration…

The Star Movie has hit theaters with a holiday bang, and my family couldn’t be more thrilled about the new film!
My girls and I headed to the film’s premiere in Los Angeles California, to celebrate its debut. Numerous celebs and their families arrived on the “white” holiday carpet to show their support for this lovely film.
Thank you Sony for inviting me to The Star Movie Premiere. All opinions are my own.
In Sony Pictures Animation’s film The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a different life beyond his village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free. He embarks on the adventure of his dreams, and he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.
This sweet Christmas story is presented from the animal’s perspective.
We could feel the festive vibe on the carpet. There was twinkling trees with holiday lights and winter magic in the air.
Gina Rodriguez stars as Mary in the film. She arrived with her family on the carpet.
Perez Hilton made his guest appearance with his adorable little ones.
Modern Family’s Aubrey Anderson-Emmons was rocking her red sweater for the Christmas themed event.
Albert Tsai was all smiles and mingled with fellow celebrities.

ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat’s cast arrived in great spirit ready to watch the new film.
Normani Kordei Hamilton, from Fifth Harmony looked stunning in her holiday dress.
This movie is a great way to present the nativity story to small children. It is sweet, funny, and a great way to kick-off the holiday season with your entire family.
Go see this family friendly nativity story in theaters today!
Emojis have forever changed the way we communicate and express ourselves. I often select emojis based on my mood or state of mind. The Emoji Movie hit theaters today, and we are feeling all kinds of emoticons about the new film. Sony’s computer- animated film will take moviegoers on a fun “app-venture!”
Earlier this week, we also hit The Emoji Movie premiere in Los Angeles California. We were elated to see the amount enthusiasm for the new film.
The Emoji Movie created by Sony Pictures, unlocks a secret world that lives inside your phone. Gene (T.J. Miller), is a exuberant emoji who was born without a filter and is bursting with multiple expressions. Gene is determined to become “normal” like the other emojis, in Textopolis, (city where emojis live, hoping to be selected by the phone’s user). In this world, each emoji has only one facial expression. Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris). Together, they embark on an epic “app-venture” through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the Code that will fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all emojis depends on these three unlikely friends who must save their world before it’s deleted forever.
TJ Miller looked dapper in his yellow emoji suit, and his lovely wife Kate was all smiles at the premiere. Tj stars as Gene, a multi-expressional emoji.
Gene is uncertain of his future, but his malfunction saves the day. My favorite part of the film is when Gene gets stuck in the Candy Crush game. It is just hilarious!
Maya Rudolph looked adorable in this unique floral knit dress.
Maya plays the voice of Smiler, an evil emoticon who wears a big grin. She is deceptive and also controlling.
What’s your favorite emoji? I often send kisses to the favorite people in my life…
This movie is super cute and has a great message!
Mario Lopez appeared to be a little “pooped out” at the celebration.
Glozell looked bright and bubbly in yellow at the premiere. Love her!
The Emoji Movie is hilarious and great for the entire family. Go meet Hi-5, Gene, Jailbreak, and the rest of Textopolis NOW in theaters everywhere!
Last week we hit the red carpet for “The Beguiled” movie premiere in Los Angeles, California. The hashtag of the night was #VengefulBitches. It was no surprise because this new juicy thriller is disturbing, provocative, and suspenseful…
Directed by Sofia Coppola, this drama takes place in Virginia during the Civil War. A young girl ventures out into the woods to collect mushrooms and finds a wounded Union soldier under a tree. At first, the film feels much like a historical drama, then this hair-raising story takes unexpected twists and turns.
This new thriller hits select theaters June 23rd.
Thank you Focus Features for inviting us to The Beguiled Movie Premiere. All opinions are my own.
The Beguiledis an atmospheric thriller from acclaimed writer/director Sofia Coppola. The story unfolds during the Civil War, at a Southern girls’ boarding school. Its sheltered young women take in an injured enemy soldier. As they provide refuge and tend to his wounds, the house is taken over with sexual tension and dangerous rivalries, and taboos are broken in an unexpected turn of events.

Quentin Tarantino and other Hollywood celebs showed up to the premiere to support Coppola’s new film. “The Beguiled” is a recreation of the 1971 film, originally starring Clint Eastwood.
Producer Youree Henley said, “It’s a really fun movie to watch especially with an audience. When people feel like they are given permission collectively to laugh, or sigh, or to feel that experience. It’s very quiet sometimes and then it gets very broad in the best sense.”
We laughed, cringed, and gasped while watching the film. The story took us on an emotional voyage, much like Henley described in our interview.
Miss Martha (Nicole Kidman), is elegant and poised. She reluctantly helps the wounded solider. Kidman’s beauty and demeanor transforms as her attraction grows for McBurney.
Corporal McBurney’s (Colin Farrell) character is rugged, charming, and magnetic much like Eastwood in the original film. The attractive soldier has an thick Irish brogue. He distracts the girls from their daily routine, which causes disruption in the school.
Edwina (Kirsten Dunst) portrays a quiet composed teacher who also falls hard for the Union Soldier. She is determined to be by his side.
Alicia (Elle Fanning) is a young wild seductress. Things definitely heat up with Elle and McBurney, and the love triangle becomes chaotic and extremely complicated.
Emma Howard (Emily) looked gorgeous in red at the premiere. This is her first feature film.
As the story unfolds, these young girls reveal a dark vindictive side. Addison Riecke is sweet “Marie” in the film.
The six pound pie baked by Chef Casey Thompson was the perfect dessert for “The Beguiled” themed dinner party.
My family has Smurf fever and we could not be more excited about the new movie release of Smurfs: The Lost Village. I grew up watching the cartoon in the 80’s, so this new one brings on a bit of nostalgia for me.
In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history.
The Sony Pictures Animation team continues to create films that have a long-lasting impact, quickly becoming family favorites.
Thank you Sony for inviting me to the Smurfs: The Lost Village Movie Junket and Premiere. All opinions are my own.
It was so awesome meeting the actors: Demi Lovato (Smurfette), Ariel Winter (Smurf Lily), Joe Manganiello (Hefty), and Jack McBrayer (Clumsy Smurf) at the press junket in Beverly Hills. Director Kelly Asbury was also in attendance. He stars as Nosey Smurf in this new film.
The all star cast is sensational! Michelle Rodriguez (SmurfStorm), Ellie Kemper (SmurfBlossom), and Julia Roberts (SmurfWillow) are all residents of the title’s Lost Village. Special voice cameos to include: Gordon Ramsay (Baker), Gabriel Iglesias (Jokey), Tituss Burgess (Vanity), Jeff Dunham (Farmer), and Jake Johnson (Grouchy).
In my interview, Demi Lavato said, ” My favorite thing about playing Smurfette, is the female empowerment aspect of this role. And I think it’s very convenient with timing of where we are at in the world today. So that was very exciting for me… And being able to play a courageous brave young female who sets out on this adventure to find out more about herself, is I think encouraging and something that is inspirational for younger woman.”
The following family headed to the premiere in Culver City, California. There was games, music, crafts, and Smurfy blue food.
Everyone joined in on the fun at the Smurfs celebration.
Celebs also made made appearances at the premiere. Glozell looked smurfy from head to toe too! Shaley Scott sings “You Will Always Find Me in Your Heart” in the new film...
We had a Smurftacular day at the premiere! Go see Smurfs: The Lost Village in theaters April 7th!
